Questions?

Here's a quick list of the most frequently asked questions.

How long does it usually take to create each illustration?

The length of time it takes to create each piece generally depends on the complexity and style of the art. It can range from a couple of days for a pencil sketch, to one month or more for a full color digital painting. It all depends on the style and content of the piece.

Just to clarify, the start date is not the date when you place the order, it is the actual date I begin work on your piece. I'll inform you via email when I'm ready to begin on your piece. Half of the payment is due when I begin. You can quickly check on the status of your order at any time on the main page of this site.

Something else to note is that it's not uncommon that I could be working on multiple pieces at one time. Obviously, some styles take longer than others.

Another factor that plays a big part in the timeline, is the length of the current queue (how many people are there in front of you). My current queue has room for only five commissions at a time to help keep delays to a minimum.

What do you get as a final product?

You'll recieve a high-res (150 dpi 8.5" x 11") .png or .jpg.

What do I need to supply?

At the very least I'll need either screenshots of your character (at various angles is preferrable, or any kind of background story/information you can supply. (If you've got both...all the better). Fan fiction or other stories are usually helpful, so is a list of powers, abilities, or signature weapons the character uses.

What is the process?

The process for each piece depends mainly on the artistic style. I'll be posting a more information soon about what steps are involved with each style.

What type of payment do you accept?

At this time I accept PayPal as payment. It's a standard for web transactions and it's very convenient. Half the payment is due before I begin work. And I do have a verified Paypal account.

Do you ONLY draw super heroes?

Of course not, it just happens that most of my commissions come from drawing super heroes and villains from City of Heroes. I do prefer to have a pretty good knowledge of the world I'm drawing from, but that shouldn't be too limiting since I've spent a large amount of time playing City of Heroes, Star Wars Galaxies, World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, Toontown and the Lord of the Rings Online.
